Treasure Island has two kinds of neighborhood. The finger islands off the causeway, like Isle of Capri and Paradise Island, are lined with canal-front homes and docks. At the south end, Sunset Beach is a narrow, laid-back stretch of cottages and newer homes between the Gulf and the bay.
Both share the same problem: sandy fill and salt air that wear down any natural lawn. On the canals, we turf the backyard down to the seawall. In Sunset Beach, it’s small front yards, side yards and the space around raised homes that need to look neat without much upkeep.

Will turf handle storm flooding?
Turf is permeable and drains through. After any flooding, a fresh-water rinse and a quick brush bring it back.
Do I need approval from my HOA?
Some Treasure Island properties have an HOA or condo association. Check with them first; we can provide product details and a layout for the request.
